Bolero (2002)
Length: 16 minutes
Music: Maurice Ravel, "Bolero"
Lighting: David Finley
Costumes: Russ Vogler
Set: Harry Feiner

Bolero is a bold and unique interpretation of the famous musical score. Its perpetual motion and ever-changing patterns build to its illusive but inevitable climax. The unrelenting crescendo of energy creates a riveting tour de force.
Bolero was co-commissioned by Cal Performances and The Théâtre de Saint Quentin en Yvelines, France. Additional funding provided by The Florence Gould Foundation, The Harkness Foundation for Dance and, in part, by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts and with public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs Cultural Challenge Program. Set underwriting provided by The Grand Marnier Foundation.
